The high school football season rolls on for the Centennial Junior Chargers.
Jack Deacon scored a touchdown and Joe Kitchener kicked two field goals and a convert as Centennial defeated Holy Trinity of Courtice 13-6.
The Chargers defense did the rest. Braden Sicotte had two interceptions and Peter Holt another.
The Chargers advance to the “AAA” Junior Metro Bowl semi final this Saturday against St. Mike’s Academy. Kick-off is at 10am at St. Maxmillion Kolbe High School in Aurora.
This is the farthest a school from the Quinte region has gone in the junior Triple “A” loop.
