University Hospitals Kingston Foundation will have to wait a while before learning whether Brighton council will donate to a major redevelopment at Kingston General Hospital.
Last night, the Foundation asked council to donate close to $82,000 over 5 years toward the half a billion dollar upgrade.
Council decided to discuss the issue at upcoming 2020 budget discussions.
Last year, people from Brighton made almost 3,500 visits to the various specialty departments at KGH.
Meanwhile, winter parking restrictions are now in place throughout Brighton. No parking will be allowed on the sides of streets or roads between midnight and 7 a.m.
