Motor vehicle collisions
On November 18, 2019, at 5:42 p.m., police attended on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road at Hamilton Road in relation to a three-car collision. The vehicle that rear-ended the other vehicles failed to remain at the scene. It is described as a white hatchback car. There were no injuries. On November 18, 2019, at 11:20 p.m., a motorist advised that she was struck on Sidney Street by a blue or black hatchback car. This vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The investigation is continuing. Any information can be forwarded to Constable DeSousa at zdesousa@police.belleville.on.ca
Domestic
On November 18, 2019, at 11:04 p.m., police attended on Albion Street regarding a domestic dispute. Police arrested a 36-year-old Belleville man who was bound by conditions to not have any contact with the woman. The male was charged with two counts of breach of probation and held for a bail hearing on November 19, 2019.
