Titans and Chargers win basketball titles
The St. Theresa Titans overmatched their opponents to win the COSSA Senior “AAA” basketball championship.
St. T’s blew out Cobourg 46-20 to advance to the final where they defeated I.E Weldon of Lindsay 58-35.

The Centennial Chargers defeated I.E. Weldon 37-29 to capture the junior girls COSSA “AAA” title.
Junior Boys Football
The Centennial Chargers have advanced to the Junior Metro “B” Football bowl.
Mason Duvall and Dustin Young scored touchdowns to lead Centennial over St. Peter’s from Peterborough 15-12 to win the COSSA Triple “A” football championship. Joe Kitchener kicked the other 3 points.
Centennial will host Holy Trinity from Oshawa on Tuesday at 1 o’clock in the LOSSA championship game. The game will either be at Centennial or Mary Ann Sills Park depending on field conditions.
Boys Volleyball
The Quinte Christian Eagles Senior and Junior are Central Ontario High School volleyball champions.
Quinte Christian swept Kenner in 3 sets in the senior final to advance to the Ontario championships in Chatham-Kent next week. In the junior final the Eagles won in 3 straight sets over Marc Garneau.
