Three people have been arrested and face charges following the execution of a search warrant in Deseronto on Thursday morning.
Lennox and Addington OPP executed the warrant at a home in the town and 32 year-old Brittany Burns of Loyalist Township, 34 year-old Melissa Matchim of Kingston and 32 year-old Nathan Thomas Elliott of Deseronto were arrested.
Burns is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking – two counts; possession and failure to comply with probation order.
Matchim is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking – two counts; and possession.
Elliott is facing charges of possession for the purpose of Trafficking – two counts; possession and fail to comply with a recognizance.
Burns and Matchim will appear in court at a later date, while Elliott remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
