A two vehicle collision shut down a busy stretch of road in Quinte West during the dinner hour.
Quinte West OPP, paramedics and firefighters from Station 3 were called to the Hamilton Road and Lester Road area for an accident which saw one vehicle roll over.
The road was closed for a period of time while emergency personnel secured the scene.
Fire Chief John Whalen says one vehicle rolled into the south ditch and one man was extricated from the vehicle. The patient was transported to Trenton Memorial Hospital via ambulance.
