Belleville is continuing to make huge strides when it comes to transit.
The city announced today (Thursday) real-time information regarding Belleville’s buses will be available through the Transit app.
Transit Operations Manager Paul Buck says it’s about giving the customer the information they want, when they want it.
He says they’ve been working with the system behind the scenes for the last two months to tweak the data and make sure it gives accurate and reliable data.
Buck says the app is also extremely user friendly.
Riders will see nearby options, departure times, trip planning, ETAs, step-by-step navigation and more.
The Transit app is used in more than 200 cities worldwide including Montreal, Boston, Edmonton and Saskatoon.
Transit is available for download on Apple and Android.
