On Friday, November 22, attend the 30th Annual Trenton Woodlot Conference for an opportunity to Return to Our Roots with Down to Earth Forestry – hosted by the Ontario Woodlot Association (Quinte and Limestone chapters) and Hastings Stewardship Council.
This forestry event is designed to inform woodlot owners and those who love our community forests. If you’ve ever wondered about how to
manage your woodlot more sustainably, what’s in the soil, or how to deal with beavers on your property, come to the conference for answers and new resources.
A locally sourced hot lunch will be served. This is an official Zero Waste event; stewardship practices extend from the forest to the table.
The Trenton Woodlot Conference is on Friday, November 22. Doors open at 8 a.m. The program runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Batawa Community Centre at 81 Plant St., Batawa. Admission is $40, including lunch. RSVP by November 15 to ensure a place at the lunch table.
