The Bayside Red Devils defeated Cobourg Collegiate 5-1 to win the Central Ontario High School “AAA” Senior Soccer title at Fleming College.
The Red Devils advance to the Ontario championships in June in Stoney Creek.
In the “AAA” Junior final Cobourg edged the East Northumberland Blue Dragons 2-1.
Earlier this week the Nicholson Crusaders beat the Prince Edward Collegiate Panthers 6-1 in the final of the boys COSSA “A” Senior final.
In the junior final the St. Paul Falcons defeated Nicholson 3-2 on penalty kicks.
Ravens advance to football final
The Bay of Quinte High School Football championship matchups are set.
The Eastside Secondary Ravens defeated the Trenton Tigers 33-14 to advance to the championshp against the Centennial Chargers.
That game is at noon on Saturday November 9th at Mary Ann Sills Park. It will follow the junior final between Centennial and the Bayside Red Devils which begins at 10.
