An off-duty OPP officer has been charged in connection with an ATV crash in Tyendinaga Township this past Monday.
The four-wheeler was carrying a driver and two passengers, when it rolled over on Lazier Road around 6:30 p.m. and tossed all three riders to the ground.
The driver and one of the passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators say the driver of the ATV is 39-year-old Trisha Salmon, an OPP detective constable and a nine-year veteran of the police force, currently posted in Central Hastings.
She’s been charged with impaired driving and will appear in court on November 12.
