Prince Edward County OPP are investigating another email scam.
On October 16, officers received a report from a victim stating they had been defrauded through an email from a co-worker.
The woman stated she received an email from her supervisor requesting she purchase $300 in gift cards for an event.
The activation codes were then sent to the fraudulent email address causing a loss of the funds.
The investigation is ongoing.
