The City of Belleville has found its new Director of Engineering and Development Services internally.
The city announced Tuesday morning Stephan Ashton will fill the vacancy left by Rod Bovay, who was appointed CAO back in July.
Ashton was previously the Manager of Policy Planning for the city and had held that position since June, 2018.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk says he looks forward to continued success within the Engineering and Development Services Department.
Ashton begins his role as director on November 4.
