Prince Edward County council might take an important step toward making a huge housing development in Picton a reality at its meeting tonight.
At a special public council planning meeting what’s known as the Port Picton development along the shores of the bay at the harbour will be discussed.
Council is being asked to approve a rezoning and a draft plan of subdivision for the Port Picton development which would consist of a total of 258 residential units, including single family homes, semi-detached, townhouses and apartment buildings.
The land now has the Claramount Inn on it, some houses, with some of it being vacant.
