A time capsule locked inside the walls of the Quinte West OPP station was opened Friday.
It was placed in the building on September 24, 1985, at the current OPP building on Dixon Drive.
David Saunders, the Chief of the Trenton Police at the time of the new build, describes some of the items in the capsule.
Saunders came to Trenton in 1970, and says also in the capsule was a police badge from the force.
