It will soon be a time to reflect and thank our veterans for their service and with that comes poppy sales.

Poppies will officially be available on Friday says Nickerson.
Last year their campaign raised $40,000 and she is hoping they reach that amount again and the funds go to a number of different veterans’ initiatives and programs.
Panciuk also told Quinte News the flag marking the poppy campaign will be seen atop the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
You can find poppy boxes at local businesses on Friday and the Quinte Mall starting on Monday.
