A Fly Fishing Muskie event is set to get underway in Tweed this weekend.
The Monster Mash, as it’s called, runs for three days, including a Friday night event, all day fishing on Saturday and half-day on Sunday.
Tweed Community Manager Rachelle Hardisty tells Quinte News, “It’s taking place right here on Stoco Lake.”
Hardisty says it was organized with the assistance of Mike McNaught and Nick Pujic.
The fly fishing weekend has attracted a total of 71 anglers and has sponsors from all over North America.
The awards for the Muskie fly fishing catch and release will be handed out in a ceremony at the noon hour on Sunday.
