Motor Vehicle Collison
On October 22, 2019 at 3:30 a.m., police attended Boswell Street with regard to a vehicle that struck a tree. Witnesses advised police that immediately after the collision a male and female were observed fleeing the area on foot. The male was wearing an orange sweatshirt and the female was wearing red clothing. Police checked the area for the couple with negative results. Public Intoxication
On October 21, 2019 at 6 p.m., police attended a business on Front Street with regard to an unruly intoxicated female causing problems with patrons and citizens walking by the area. The female suspect was arrested for public intoxication. A 53-year-old Belleville woman was later released on a provincial offences notice once sober.
Attempted Break & Enter
On October 21, 2019 at 10:45 p.m., police attended an alarm call at the East End Pawn Shop on Dundas Street East. Unknown suspect(s) attempted unsuccessfully to smash the front door.
