The Trenval Development Corporation and partners need a new and more professional headquarters.
And Monday evening Chandy Davis of Trenval Development Corporation asked Quinte West council for $400,000 to help pay for a new Regional Business, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Centre.
Chandy Davis of Trenval said the City of Belleville is already on board for the project.
It’s hoped construction could begin next year with the facility ready to open in the spring of 2021. The estimated cost of the new centre is $2 million.
The request from Trenval will go to Quinte West council budget discussions.
