A man was injured after his car hit a hydro pole along Old Highway 2 in Quinte West yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
Quinte West firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extricate the man from the vehicle which was on its side and had sustained heavy damage near Lafferty Road just west of Trenton.
The driver was rushed to Trenton Memorial Hospital.
A crew from Hydro One was called to the scene to deal with downed power lines. The collision occurred at around 2 o’clock.
