Quinte West council has a busy agenda ahead of it at tomorrow’s (Monday’s) regular meeting.
Council will hear from a handful of delegations and receive information on Oak Lake and its water quality, a proposed regional business and innovation centre, and homelessness in the area.
Council will also decide on whether or not to donate $80,000 to the Belleville Quinte Community Health Centre as work continues to make a Quinte West Health Hub a reality near Trenton Memorial Hospital.
The money would be used for furnishings, decorations and work outside the property line on Catherine Street.
The Community Health Centre would be the first phase in the new Health Hub, with other healthcare agencies such as the VON and Addictions and Mental Health moving in as part of a second phase of development.
