Quinte West council will again discuss the installation of a multi-sport turf field for Trenton’s Centennial Park at its meeting Monday.
The decision revolves around deciding to apply for funding from the Canada Infrastructure Fund.
That fund would pay the majority of the cost of the field if the application were approved.
Council has three options in front of it. A turf field only, at a cost $1.8 million, a field enclosed by an air-supported structure costing $4.6 million, or a field with grade beams and conduit installed allowing for the future enclosure of the field at a cost of $2.6 million.
Council meets at 6:30 at Quinte West city hall.
