Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle by Alcohol Arrest
While on general patrol of the city, Belleville Police noticed an erratic driver on Centre Street.
Police initiated a traffic stop on College Street East where an investigation ensued.
Twenty-four-year-old Kevin Bedore was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol over 80 and dangerous driving.
Bedore was taken to the Belleville Police Service and later released with a promise to appear in court on November 4.
Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle by Drugs Arrest
A 35-year-old Belleville man has been arrested and charged for allegations of impaired driving.
Last night at 9 o’clock police arrived on Bleecker Avenue after a report of an erratic driver.
A traffic stop was conducted which lead to an investigation.
Krysztof Wolf was said to be impaired by drugs and was taken to the Belleville Police Service.
Once a drug recognition expert confirmed the impairment, Wolf was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drug.
He was later released on a promise to appear in court on October 31.
Intoxicated persons
Earlier this morning (Saturday) at 3:05 a.m, police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman in the area of Albany Heights.
Police attended the area and located a highly intoxicated 28-year-old Deseronto woman who was arrested for public intoxication.
She was taken to the Belleville Police Service and is scheduled to be released on a Provinvial Offences Notice under the Liquor Licence Act when sober.
Arrested on Warrants
Yesterday (Friday) at 6:05 p.m., police located a 35-year-old Belleville man who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his recognizance.
The man was not cooperative with police and further investigation resulted in several new charges.
The man was arrested on the outstanding warrant and also charged with two counts under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Weapons Dangerous, Mischief Under $5,000 and Obstruct Peace Officer.
He was taken to the Belleville Police Service and is being held for a bail hearing.
