Prince Edward County council has taken another step toward making a large new housing development in the Picton area a reality.
At its meeting earlier this week council approved a draft plan of subdivision consisting of 145 houses, six semi-detached residences and over 60 townhouses, along with an apartment block with a total of 52 units.
Rollins Investments Inc. plans on building the subdivision on land which runs between Talbot Street and Loyalist Parkway in Hallowell ward.
