Belleville police are investigating a fire in a transport trailer that occurred along Bell Boulevard overnight.
Belleville firefighters responded around 11 o’clock to the rear of the Value Village store where a trailer parked near the building was up in flames.
The trailer and contents were destroyed and there was considerable damage to the interior of Value Village from smoke and water. Other nearby businesses were also ventilated of smoke by firefighters.
No one was injured.
The cause is considered suspicious and anyone with information is asked to contact Belleville Police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.
