A former education assistant with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board will spend seven years in jail after being found guilty of charges including sexual exploitation, sexual interference, luring, and accessing child pornography.
According to Global News Peterborough KarKawen Bagshaw was found guilty at a 10-day trial in April of sexually exploiting two teenage male students, both of whom are now adults.
She was sentenced yesterday (Friday).
The report says Bagshaw had numerous sexual encounters with the boys and purchased alcohol and drugs for them.
The incidents took place from 2013 to 2015.
