Changes are coming soon to a busy intersection around Foxboro.
Thurlow ward representative on Belleville council Bill Sandison says traffic lights at the accident prone intersection of Highway 62 and Foxboro-Stirling Road are on the way.
The Ministry of Transportation agreed to put the traffic signals up after lobbying efforts by members of city council and local MPPs Daryl Kramp and Todd Smith.
Previous traffic volume studies had already shown that the Highway 62 and Foxboro-Stirling Road intersection was busy enough for traffic lights and it’s only going to get busier.
