The Belleville Police Service responded to 67 calls for service between October 11, 2019 at 5 a.m. and October 12, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Multiple fights lead to multiple arrests.
On October 12, 2019, at 2:10 a.m., Belleville Police received several calls regarding multiple fights in front of North Front Street businesses. Police attended, and a male and female were arrested for public intoxication relating to two separate matters. Police received no further calls to the area afterward.
Man arrested for breaching recognizance.
On October 11, 2019, at 12:55 p.m., Belleville Police received a complaint at the courthouse regarding a male who was on conditions not to be in Belleville. Police located the male and he was arrested. Brant Maracle, 79, of Quinte West was charged with breaching his recognizance. He will appear in court on November 14.
