As has happened often this season the Wellington Dukes had to battle from behind.
Thanks to third period goals by Jacob Vreugdenhil and Ryan Smith Wellington was able to play North York to a 4-4 double overtime tie at the Lehigh Arena.
The Rangers scored all of their goals during a 7 minute stretch of the second period. Coach Derek Smith saw the good and bad of it.
Ben Evans and Jake Gagnon scored the other Wellington goals.

Wellington is tied with Trenton for first place in the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s East Division.
It will be a long weekend spent on the road for the Golden Hawks.
Tonight they play the Muskies in Lindsay. On Sunday they face the Rangers at North York. The Golden Hawks are in Cobourg on Thanksgiving Monday.
In Junior “C” tonight (Friday) the undefeated (8-0) Napanee Raiders host the Lakefield Chiefs at 7:30 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
