Belleville native Nick Cousins suffered a lower body injury during the Montreal Canadiens morning practice yesterday. Reports say it’s his back.
Cousins signed a one year free agent contract with Montreal. after two seasons with the Arizona Coyotes.
Cousins was a healthy scratch in the Habs’first two regular season games but had a goal and 2 assists in 4 preseason games.
Cousins is listed as day to day and did not make the trip to Buffalo where the Canadiens play the Sabres tonight.
