Warrants
On October 7, 2019 at approximately 7:50 p.m., a male attended the police station to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant from 2018. The warrants were endorsed and 31-year-old Michael Witherden of Belleville was released on a promise to appear with a court date on October 24, 2019.
On October 27, 2019 at approximately 8:10 p.m., police received a call to an east end location for a report of a female in medical distress. Upon arrival, officers identified the female and ascertained that warrants were outstanding for her arrest. As a result, officers accompanied her to Belleville General Hospital where she was later released on a promise to appear. Forty-one-year-old Angela Ford of Belleville, was given a court date for October 24, 2019, and was charged with failing to appear for her fingerprints relating to an original charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Liquor Licence Act
On October 8, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Belleville Police attended an east end apartment building for a report of a male passed out in the hallway. Officers located the male and noticed that he was heavily intoxicated due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. A 33-year-old Quinte West man was arrested for being intoxicated in a common area for his own safety. He was later released on a Part I offense notice.
