The defence corps of the Belleville Senators has quickly gone from 8 to 6.
Hours after Ottawa traded B-Sens rearguard Nick Ebert to the New York Rangers, the American Hockey League has handed down a two game suspension to Hubert Labrie.
The punishment comes as a result of an elbowing incident Saturday against the Toronto Marlies.
Labrie will miss both games against the Binghamton Devils Friday and Saturday.
