Belleville Police responded to 45 calls for service from 5 a.m. on October 6, 2019 and 5 a.m. on October 7, 2019.
Break & Enter / Breach of Probation
On October 6, 2019 at 5:15 p.m., officers arrested a male on Pinnacle Street in connection with a residential Break and Enter that occurred on June 26 on St. Paul Street. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Tim Sharpe (33 years old) of Belleville was charged with one count of Break and Enter and one count of Breach of Probation. The accused was later released and will appear in Belleville court on November 7.
Drugs
On October 6, 2019 at 10:20 p.m., officers on general patrol were dealing with a suspicious male on Wilson Ave. As a result of further investigation the male was found to be in possession of fentanyl. Tyson Simmons (32 years old) of Belleville was arrested and later charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. The accused was later released and will appear in Belleville court on November 4.
