The YMCA of Central East Ontario is giving parents another option if a strike by CUPE Education Workers does happen on Monday.
President and CEO Dave Allen says they will be offering day camps at the Belleville, Quinte West and Peterborough branches to accommodate children if schools are in fact closed.
Parents are asked to sign up for their wait list as it is a fluid situation and parents can receive registration and fee information at that time.
Before and after school programs will not operate during the CUPE Education Workers strike. Licensed child care operated by the YMCA will continue.
