A friendly reminder from Belleville Police – don’t bring your illegal drugs to the courthouse.
Police say a man entered the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse around 4:30 yesterday afternoon to meet with a lawyer and while being searched at the front door, was found to be in possession of a small quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, and another unidentified substance.
The male also had small baggies and a scale.
Twenty-two-year-old Justin Davis of Belleville is charged with possession of a substance for trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
He has a court appearance on October 28.
