The roster is set and there is one more practice before the Belleville Senators open their 3rd season in the American Hockey League tomorrow (Sat) in Toronto.
15 forwards, 8 defencemen and 2 goaltenders will open the season with Belleville.
16 are returning. 12 have NHL experience, and 6 are rookies including winger Max Veronneau. He played 12 games with Ottawa after leaving Princeton late last season.
Veronneau says the two exhibition games in Laval last week have helped him to adjust to the AHL.
Troy Mann begins his second season behind the Belleville bench. His lineup was fortified this week with the addition of a number of elite players.
It starts with the AHL version of the “Battle of Ontario” tomorrow (Saturday) with the B-Sens and the Marlies at Coca Cola Coliseum.
CJBQ will have the play by play at 3:50 for Deerhaven Farm and Garden and Eastern Overhead Doors.
