Thanksgiving is coming soon and Gleaners Food Bank is getting set to stock up its shelves not only for that celebration but for the rest of the year as well.
Gleaners is holding its annual city wide food drive this Sunday.
The food drive kicks off at noon at Market Square in downtown Belleville.
Hundreds of volunteers will be going door to door picking up non-perishable food items.
Residents are asked to have the food outside on their doorstep by noon Sunday.
Last year Gleaners provided more than 6,600 food hampers to those in need, helping over 2,200 families.
