Don’t be alarmed if you see a lot of firetrucks, police officers, and ambulances in Brighton today (Thursday).
Various agencies will be conducting a training exercise named “Crossing Borders” which centres on an industrial accident which occurs in Brighton’s industrial park.
The exercise will involve activity by medical personnel and emergency responders from Northumberland and Hastings counties and 11 separate facilities with one of them being Trenton Memorial Hospital.
About 150 volunteers will be the so called “victims”.
Residents are reminded the activity is a planned exercise and are asked to not call 9 1 1 .
