Motor Vehicle Collision
On October 1, 2019 at 2:25 p.m., police responded to the area of College Street East regarding a two vehicle collision. Minor damages and no injuries were reported. As a result of a police investigation, the at fault driver was charged with Follow too Close under the Highway Traffic Act.
On October 1, 2019 at 5:40 p.m., police responded to the area of Sidney Street regarding a two vehicle collision. Minor damages and no injuries were reported. As a result of a police investigation, the at fault driver was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
Shoplifter
On October 1, 2019 at 3:30 p.m., police responded to a business on Dundas Street East regarding a shoplifting incident. A police investigation revealed that a 35-year-old Trenton female, Sari Durette, had stolen some merchandise and committed a theft. She was arrested for the theft and transported to the Belleville Police Service where she is being held for bail.

Police report a fairly steady night on Tuesday night, into Wednesday morning, having attended to domestic disputes, neighbour and family disputes, traffic complaints, and harassment issues.
