The City of Belleville saw less construction in September than they did a year ago.
The City issued 67 permits last month for a construction value of $7.6 million, bringing their year to date totals over $115.6 million.
Permits were issued for 22 new homes and 32 other residential properties.
There was also a permit issued for a new row house with a construction value of $698,000.
