Federal candidates in the Bay of Quinte Riding will be discussing environmental issues as part of a national debate series on Thursday.
Centennial Secondary School in Belleville is hosting the event as part of the “100 Debates” initiative, with environmental discussions taking place across the country.
Candidates will answer questions on climate change, water pollution, wilderness conservation and others.
They’ll also discuss what environmental issues they feel are important to the riding and what plans are in their party’s platform to address them.
The environmental debate runs between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the Centennial Secondary School Auditorium and will be available to listen to as a podcast following the event.
