Quinte Health Care held their first job fair last week and saw over 80 people interested in a career in health care stop by.
The event was held in the Education Centre at Belleville General Hospital and recruiter Jenn Broek and HR Director Bree Gaber told Quinte News it was a success.
There were 38 interviews conducted on Friday at the job fair and Broek and Gaber spent most of their day Monday offering jobs to qualified candidates.
QHC was aiming to fill current and future positions at all four of its hospitals in Belleville, Trenton, Picton and Bancroft.
High school students were also asked to come by and check out the job fair to help create more interest in nursing as a career.
