Police say thieves stole $5,000 in cash and $300 worth of jewellery from a home in Ameliasburgh last Thursday.
Someone got into the home on County Road 23 sometime between 2:20 in the afternoon and midnight, when police were called.
Investigators say they believe suspects got inside through a sliding window at the back of the home and are asking anyone who might have information to contact police.
They are also asking all PEC residents to be on the watch for any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.
