Nobody was seriously injured, but a house was significantly damaged after a car rammed through a garage door near Port Hope.
It happened around 1:15 yesterday (Sunday) morning at a home on Dale Road near Ontario Street, in Hamilton Township.
Police say a black 2019 Range Rover SUV went through the garage door and hit the car parked inside, damaging that vehicle and causing structural damage to the home.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital but then released.
Thirty-one-year-old Chase Dobson of Port Hope is charged with impaired driving and dangerous driving.
His car was impounded and his licence has been suspended for 90 days.
No other details have been released.
