There’s no such thing as a free ride in life but a Belleville man thought he should get a free taxi ride early yesterday morning.
He was wrong.
When he refused to pay the cab fare he got into a minor scuffle with the driver and Belleville police were called.
Officers arrested a 34-year-old man and ticketed him for public intoxication.
Meanwhile, at 3:45 this morning (Sunday) police stopped an extremely intoxicated man walking on North Front Street.
The 27-year-old claimed he was walking to Madoc. He was arrested for his own protection.
