Arrest on Warrants
On September 23,2019 at 7 a.m., police responded to the west end regarding a male who was unwanted at a residence. It was determined that the male was currently wanted on three outstanding warrants. The male was located on Sidney Street and after a short foot chase the male was located hiding inside another residence. Thirty-six-year-old Ryan Hinks of Belleville was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Found boat
On September 23, 2019 at 9 a.m. police attended the Moira river in the area of Ashley Street regarding a boat found drifting on the river. Public intoxication
On September 23, 2019 at 3:30 p.m., police attended the east end of the city regarding a heavily intoxicated male. The 60-year-old Belleville resident was located and arrested for his own protection and was released when sober.
