The funding application window is now open for young or new farmers, who are looking for some help from Prince Edward County.
The County Cultivation Corporation assists farmers in those two categories who are negatively impacted by rising land values and increased property taxes, with applicants eligible to receive some relief from their annual farm tax bill.
The values range between $300, or 14% of your annual bill, whichever is greater.
