The Mohawk Community Centre on York Road will be a busy place this Friday (September 27).
It will be the scene of the annual Youth 2 Youth Summit, organized by the United Way, Hastings and Prince Edward.
The United Way’s Jodi Cooper said about 200 students from throughout the area will be involved.
There will be guest speakers and an information fair.
A group of about 20 students have organized the day long event and several seminars will be offered.
Topics up for discussion include financial literacy, mental health and wellness, technology as a tool, human equity, substance abuse,
sexual health, and environmental outreach.
The Youth 2 Youth Summit begins at 9 a.m.
