The high tech sector is growing in the Quinte region. The Quinte Economic Development Commission is in the midst of doing a survey of high tech businesses, big and small, in the area and so far there’s more than 70 of them.
The QEDC’s CEO Chris King says the survey is asking about the manpower and skills needs of the companies, for now and in the future.
When the survey results are in, King says they will have a good idea of what the community can do to help the sector.
The high tech sector survey results are expected before the end of next month.
