Details are few, but according to Scan-Quinte and other social media, a person died after being hit by a train in the noon hour today (Sunday).
The reports indicate the person was killed on CN tracks behind a scrap yard in Napanee.
It’s unclear whether the train involved was a VIA train or a freight train.
The tracks will be closed until later this afternoon.
