Kingston Police have issued an update in the stabbing incident which occurred on Thursday.
Police say they were called to the intersection of Bagot and Queen Streets around 1:45 p.m. for the report of a stabbing in progress.
Officers located one unresponsive male and found another man being stabbed by the suspect.
Police confronted the suspect and attempted to arrest him but he died because of injuries sustained during the incident.
The first victim, a 40-year-old man, died of his injuries and another 85-year-old man sustained critical injuries.
Kingston Police are asking anyone with information about this case to contact the Major Crimes Unit.
The Special Investigations Unit is investigating this incident.
